2. PROJECT TIME

Remember: 3 things are due today…

  1. final report: ONE student per group will submit this at the final submission link
    NOTE: If you didn’t draft your final report inside the same Google Doc you used for Milestone 2, be sure to share with me the new Google doc. I won’t be able to grade your report until I have that link.
  2. qmd file: the same ONE student will submit this at the final submission link
  3. collaboration reflection: EVERY student must submit a reflection AFTER your group submits the project files

What to do during class:

  • Discuss what progress / contributions each person has made since you last connected.
  • Discuss what needs to be done – at this point, you should be finalizing / polishing, not starting new analyses.
  • Once there are final drafts of the qmd and report, EVERY group member is responsible for the following:
    • Review and provide feedback on the qmd code file. “Grade” this using row 12 of the project rubric.
    • Review and provide feedback on the entire written report. “Grade” this using rows 2-11 of the project rubric.
  • Identify who will submit the final report + qmd file.

QUIZ 3

  • Review session with Ryan
    1-230 Friday 12/12 (details on the course calendar on Moodle)

  • Quiz times

    • 3:00-4:30pm section: Saturday, 12/13 from 1:30-3:30pm
    • 1:20-2:50pm section: Tuesday, 12/16 from 1:30-3:30pm

  • Material
    This is naturally cumulative, but will be skewed toward Unit 4 (Inference).

  • Structure

    • The quiz is designed to take 75 minutes, but you have the entire 2-hour window to complete it.
    • Otherwise the structure is the same as Quizzes 1 & 2 (no calculator, yes 3x5-inch note card).

  • Study tips

    • In terms of structure and review concepts, Quizzes 1 and 2 are also good review material!!
